Your kitchen is one of the busiest rooms of your house, so it’s important for all of its furnishings and décor, including the window treatments, to blend style with functionality. While there are lots of creative ways to decorate your kitchen windows, there are a few key things to think about before deciding on the best window treatment for you—especially if you’re looking for eco-friendly interior designs for your home.
Not so long ago, traditional furniture was built to last and be passed on through generations. Today, however, the trend has turned to low-cost, mass-produced furniture that’s built to be replaced. When unsustainable, toxic, and non-biodegradable materials are used to make this short-lived furniture, it’s incredibly damaging to the environment. Fortunately, however, there are now lots of eco-friendly furniture options that are sustainable, safe for the environment, and suitable for any homeowner’s unique style. At Moretti Interior Design, our philosophy is that interior designers should help clients find ways to create a greener home, so here’s everything you need to know about eco-friendly furniture.
