How to integrate TV in rooms

Are you thinking to redesign your living area or your bedrooms?
Where would you place your television? Does this integrate well in the room?
Nowadays televisions have become an integral part of life experience and they have a big role in most of family everyday life.
People gather around them to be entertained by comedies, movies, sports event or sometimes TV is used to keep us company while doing other tasks.

But how to integrate TV into rooms without spoil the design that you’ve so carefully created?

Here some inspiring ideas on how to integrate TV in rooms, keeping in mind that it is important to choose also the option that goes well with the style of your home.

Design a Bespoke Media Unit

Create and design a media unit to integrate the TV. A bespoke media unit will be created based on your needs and your habits and will have all the space you need to enjoy the relaxing time watching TV.
The TV could be placed on the wall, right in plain sight or stand on top of a cabinet. Either way, the TV won’t be the focal point, but it will become part of a bigger interesting point.
TV will be built right into the wall unit to nearly disappear where switched off and will be only an element of the more interesting wall unit.

Hide it away

If you are not so keen to have your TV displayed and you would like to choose to have a design where you could hide your TV this idea could be a solution.
How? Create a cabinet or a more contemporary sliding cabinet cover for your TV that you will decide to keep it open or close according to your preferences of the moment.
Decorate the sliding doors of your TV cover with the same wall paint of the wall behind or use a wallpaper to create a beautiful contrast.

Make the TV a piece of art

Place your flat screen where you’d otherwise place any other piece of décor, like a painting above a fireplace or between two bookshelves.
In this case, instead of being hidden away your TV will be celebrated!
You will have the TV as a focal point, as a centre of attention.

TV: Painting or Mirror

Play with the role that your TV could have in the room! Today we have on the market great solutions that can transform your classic TV frame in paintings or mirrors when switched off.
When off, in fact, a TV can be transformed into a canvas where thousands and thousands of scrolling artwork will hide away the TV and will create a splendid way to enjoy the TV screen when off.
If you already have your favourite pieces of artwork you could have the same solution but be using the TV screen as a mirror when off.
How beautiful will be to have a nice mirror above the fireplace that will transform easily in a TV screen?
These two options could be great solutions if you are thinking to place a TV screen in your bedroom. You will have the functionality to have a screen TV but at the same time without spoil or ruin your comfortable and relaxing design.
