Do you think is it worth investing in a smart washing machine?
Let’s be honest, not many people like to do the laundry, but can the new Smart wi-fi washing machines, that are starting to become very popular, make your life easier? But what is a smart washing machine? these are appliances that work with an app that allows you to set your washing machine remotely using your phone, so maybe when you are working, or on your way home, and you can monitor the progress of your wash via the app.
In fact, you’ll be able to set your washing machine and check your laundry progress from anywhere you can connect to the internet.
Hoover and Samsung were the first two manufacturers to launch wi-fi-enabled smart washing machines in the UK
Hoover has just introduced a new collection of ‘ultra-smart laundry models’, that come up with Artificial Intelligence( AI). So how does this washing machine work? First of all, these new appliances are designed to adapt themselves to the way we live. That means according to one of our lifestyle. You can control them through your phone and your WI-Fi connection. They are One Touch, the connection system with NFC technology and an innovative APP, the Hoover Wizard App. and you can control them also from Amazon or Alexa for instance. This machine will adapt their program and personalize it according to our individual needs and requirements.
The feature that I like the most is that these appliances do use a geo-location technology so they can check the weather forecast and they will decide for you when is the best time to start the laundry:-).
You will be able to control your washing machine even with your voice and it will even provide you with a report, at the end of each cycle to help you to reduce water and energy. So very sustainable orientated.
But Hoover is not the only one to invest in new laundry technologies. Samsung has launched also The Samsung QuickDrive so that you can do your laundry in less time and have more time for yourself!
